| Die Beschriftung der Walzen ist uneinheitlich: Kunst Indonesien, Kunst Java, Kunst Soemedang (W. 198 - 204). Die W. 308 - 311 wurden 1933 für Jaap Kunst von Father Verschueren aufgenommen, die W. 312 - 327 von Herrn Middelkoop, sind aber als Kunst Indonesien beschriftet. Die Walzen wurden in einzelnen Sendungen nach Berlin geschickt, galvanisiert und in Berlin als FE 4 inventarisiert. Es existieren zusätzlich 5 Galvanos mit der Beschriftung "Kunsrt Süd-Neuguinea 5 - 9", die bisher keiner der in Berlin vorhandenen Sammlungen zugeordnet werden konnten (vgl. FE 25). Ein umfangreicher Briefwechsel liegt in Berlin ab 1931 vor. Viele Transkriptionen, Bemerkungen, Analysen etc. in Kunsts Publikationen. Zu Kunst und seinen Arbeiten vgl. Lamsweerde 1994, darin auch Listen aller Walzenaufnahmen. Eine vollständige Rekonstruktion der Sammlung ist gemeinsam mit dem Bestand des Tropenmuseums Amsterdam geplant. |
