| Die Aufnahmen M 400-440 wurden während der unter der Leitung von Prof. A.E. Jensen stehenden ersten Expedition des Frankfurter Frobenius-Instituts nach Süd-Äthiopien 1950 -1952 von Dr. Eike Haberland bei den Borana-Galla gemacht, deren Wohngebiete unmittelbar an das nördliche Kenya angrenzen. Es handelt sich nicht nur um Gesänge, sondern auch um gesprochene Texte, Gebete, Märchen und Fabeln. Die genauen Daten sind nicht notiert, sie liegen in den Jahren 1951/52. Zur Aufnahme diente ein Maihak-Gerät mit Federwerk (19 cm/sec Vollspur). Re-archiviert 1968. Textsprache Galla, Dialekt der Borana.. |
