| Der sogenannte "Burgmurrer", die Burgmusik, also die Wachablöse im Inneren Burghof in Wien, war vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg ein beliebtes Spektakel, bei dem sich Touristen und Wiener Schaulustige zusammenfanden. Das Abziehen des wachhabenden Regiments und der Einzug des neuen, nun den Dienst übernehmenden Regiments ging mit Blasmusik, den ganz spezifischen Märschen der Regimenter, der Volkshymne und eben den militärischen Kommandos einher. Dieses bunte und akustisch interessante Ereignis wurde sowohl auf Film wie auf Tonträgern (Edison-Walzen oder Schallplatten) immer wieder aufgenommen. Bei den Tonaufnahmen wurde stets dafür gesorgt, dass im rechten Moment ein "spontanes" Bravo-Schreien die militärische Zeremonie begleitete. - Bei dem hier gezeigten Dokument wurde der Versuch unternommen, eine Filmaufnahme mit einer Tonaufnahme zu synchronisieren. Das ist nur unvollkommen möglich, und man muss sich auch bewusst machen, dass es sich dabei um ein nicht ganz authentisches Konstrukt handelt. |
