| Beschriftung der Walzen: Herskowitz W.-Afrika. 1931 wurden 239 von insgesamt 261 Walzen nach Berlin geschickt, viele Walzen waren "nicht gut" bzw. durch Tropenfeuchtigkeit verdorben (vgl. Brief v. 2.9.1931). Die Sammlung wurde als FE 23 inventarisiert, aber nicht im EB eingetragen. Eine Originaldokumentation war im PHA nicht vorhanden. Die Dokumentation wurde freundlicherwiese in Bloomington kopiert. Umfangreicher Briefwechsel liegt vor. Lt. Korrespondenz sollten von M.Kolinski Transkriptionen angefertigt werden, die aber ebenso wie ein entsprechendes Manuskript bis heute unauffindbar sind. 242 Walzenkopien befinden sich in Bloomington (vgl. die Sammlung 67-152-F, EFR:95-97). |
