| Die Aufnahmen entstanden während einer Grabungskampagne der Deutschen Orient-Gesellschaft in Babylon (Leitung Robert Koldewey, Walther Andrae). Vgl. Cholidis 2002. Laut Korrespondenz wurden 72 Walzen nach Babylon geschickt. Die Dok. erwähnt insgesamt 4 Walzen, von denen aber nur 2 ins PH.A. gelangten. Briefwechsel liegt vor. Weitere Unterlagen, Korrespondenzen und Photos befinden sich im Vorderasiatischen Museum in Berlin. |
