In this record we can listen to Abertura Para Uma Nova Rainha (Jorge Salgueiro, Camoneana (Ruy Coelho), Suite Alentejana (Luís De Freitas Branco), Hino Lusitano (João Domingos Bomtempo), Paisagem Ribatejana (Duarte Pestana), the classic Um Dia Na Figueira (José Santos Rosa) and, for last, Cadetes Do Diabo (José Da Silva Marques).
Banda Sinfónica Do Exército, conducted by Tenente Chefe de Banda João Basílio has already a curriculum vitae of 15 years of service.
The recent past counts concerts at Expo 98 World Exhibition, several Festivals and traditional venues and theatres at Portugal.
Overseas, the Banda Sinfónica Do Exército got the respect and prestige recognition when playing at Biarritz, and at Macau, for the ceremony that returned this province back to China administration.
The production, recording, mixing and mastering was a one man artwork: João Lopes. His name is being recognized as one of the greatest values to be in count of at the audio production in the near future. |
